FEARLESS HUNTER.
I caught a live crab hiding in the seaweed at Pulpit Rock Beach.  I am a great connoisseur of fresh seafood and wanted to just gobble it right up.  But - I was the perfect little guest and shared my fresh caught sushi with my host, Bosco.

DOGGIE HOLIDAY AT BLUEBERRY POINT.
At the beginning of summer I went on holiday with my humans, David and Thom.  I went to Bosco's house in the country and boy, did I ever have a good time.  There was no such thing as a leash and we could run free all the time all day long.  There were woods, blueberry barrens and beaches.  Nobody got upset if we just ran off for an adventure.  It was so much fun.  Bosco and I are the same age.  Bosco is much bigger than I am so we could really play rough and nobody got hurt or in trouble.
I must admit I wore myself out.  When I finally got home to Eastport I needed two days of leisure to recover.  But - I can't wait to go again.  Luckily Bosco and I have play dates during the summer when he is living in Maine.  A dog's life at my house is a VERY good thing.

NEW FRIENDS
The other day was so bright and sunny. But it was 27 degrees. We thought the ground would be frozen at the old campgrounds. Unfortunately there were still wet spots and muddy spots scattered throughout the ice and snow.
No matter. My new friend Willie and I didn't really care. After all if we get dirty - no problem, it's up to our staff to clean us up.
Willie is Aunt Cheri's new rescued puppy and he is so much fun. He's little, but he is fast and he is tough. He can almost run me down. We raced and romped till I was so tired out I had to lie down on the ice for a rest. Needless to say, when I got home I zonked out for a long afternoon nap with Daddy David. And that night I slept like a baby (puppy?).
EVERYBODY LOVES PRESENTS
Here I am opening one of my birthday gifts. I love opening my own presents. What's inside is always a wonderful surprise. This time the package contained home-made doggie cookies from my Aunt Cheri. I feel so loved - people bake just for me!

FAMILY FROM AWAY
I have been so lazy about blogging that I am going to have to back-track almost a whole year.
Last September my Aunt Kim came to visit me from away. If you don't live here we say you are "from away". Aunt Kim lives in a small town in Pennsylvania with my doggie cousin, Zadie.
It's fun having company and Kim spoiled me just as she should have. She didn't even get angry with me when I jumped on her bed to awaken her every morning. We had good weather for her visit and I got to accompany the family on lots of outings. I just love any excuse to "Go" either on foot, in the SUV, or in the jeep.
SPECIAL BIRTHDAY TREATS
January 30th was my birthday and I was three years old. I love celebrations that are centered around me. I get red caviar cookies other times during the year, but I can be certain on my birthday there will be a very big plateful. There were so many cookies that I shared them with my cousin, Bailey in Ohio. I also shared with my cousins down the street, Willie, Patrick and Benny.

Of course the really big deal of the day was lobster. Aunt Cheri came for dinner and we all had fresh lobster. Yes, I had my very own lobster. I wasn't allowed to eat it all in one sitting because it was too rich for my delicate tummy. But - that's OK. My lobster lasted me three days.
I know on the second and third day Daddy David and Thom were jealous. I was having more lobster and theirs was all gone. Too bad - all for me.
